Rinnai offers a TOTAL range of FREE services to all UK customers – installers, consultants, main contractors, architects and national end users – which offers system designs, carbon reduction calculations, technical services, commissioning and delivery to site in one single consignment. Rinnai offers a range of products for energy efficient heating and hot water provision in natural gas, electricity, LPG and rDME fuels. Rinnai also offers all appliances –  electric and gas water heaters, heat pumps, solar thermal systems and hybrid systems utilising the principle of Practical, Economic and Technical criteria in the choice of system to any commercial site in the UK.

“Rinnai’s services are designed to provide comprehensible purchase options, system design, CAPEX, OPEX and carbon calculations as well as whole consignment delivery to any UK site upon 24 hours of purchasing,” says Technical Head Pete Seddon.

Rinnai’s specialist design team can provide a “Site Consultation Form” that details on-site data of current heating and hot water system capabilities. Customers can view the results in a rapid low carbon replacement suggestion by a professional team member.

Rinnai services include a carbon and cost comparison service that offers a free appraisal of any site’s current heating & hot water delivery system, along with empirically gathered data driven recommendations for reducing carbon load and all related costs.

If a customer encounters difficulties when selecting a product, a “Help Me Choose” service option is available at Rinnai’s website www.rinnai-uk.co.uk. This service enables easier product selection through direct contact with a Rinnai professional. A customer can be contacted either via a home number, mobile or email at a time convenient for yourself. A Rinnai professional will then advise on purchasing options that complement the unique layout of your property.

Rinnai further provides an array of cost calculation services that will measure your current system’s output in 5-year CAPEX, OPEX and carbon emission cost comparison. Once all relevant data is collected, a Rinnai team member can suggest an appropriate cost and carbon load reducing heating and hot water system that will accompany the dimensions of your property.

Rinnai services also include whole consignment deliveries within 24 hours of product purchase to any UK site.

Rinnai’s selection of on-line services enables customer convenience from product viewing, selection and purchase. Rinnai’s inclusive CPD’s, webinars, videos and calculation services ensure customers can access information that improves product knowledge and provides insight into product operational capabilities.

TURN KNOWLEDGE INTO POWER

WITH UPONOR’S NEW CPD ON HEAT NETWORKS

GF Building Flow Solutions (formerly Uponor) has launched a new CIBSE accredited CPD: ‘Minimise the heat and energy losses of heat networks’, developed for building services engineers looking to broaden their knowledge. The hour long, face-to-face session looks at the importance of community and district heating networks, the relevant legislation, and advises how to optimise their performance through the use of efficient, pre-insulated pipe systems.

The comprehensive CPD will cover the types of heat networks, their role in reaching net zero, the relevant codes of practice and offer valuable insight into the funding available. The CPD will go on to look at system structures for sustainable heating and cooling, from outside to inside the building, the main issues to consider when it comes to system design and the benefits of pre-insulated pipework.

Sam Barker, Head of Commercial at GF Building Flow Solutions said:

“Decarbonising how we heat homes and buildings through methods such as heat networks is critical for meeting net zero goals. However, they have to perform as intended and making an informed decision when it comes to the specification of pipework is a factor in their success. Attendees should leave this CPD with a greater understanding of heat networks and how, through careful pipe selection, they can enable low temperature operation and minimise heat loss.”

GF Building Flow Solutions, a division of GF, is a leading global provider of sustainable and innovative solutions, making water flow in buildings. The division, stemming from the 2023 acquisition of Uponor by GF, provides safe solutions for hot and cold water supply and control, noise-reducing wastewater systems, as well as energy-efficient heating and cooling. Its focus is to enable its customers in the residential and commercial space to be more productive and sustainable, while ensuring comfort, health and efficiency. GF Building Flow Solutions has sales companies in 30 countries and production sites in 13 locations across Europe and the Americas.

Stand H20 Birmingham NEC – 27-29 June 2023

At this year’s Installer Show, Schlüter-Systems will be focusing on their impressive range of underfloor heating solutions which comprise both electric and hydronic (water-fed) systems.  The new DITRA-HEAT-PS is a peel and stick version of the company’s established electric system. The membrane enables simple, clean and quick installation of electric underfloor heating with a thin layer of pre-applied pressure sensitive adhesive on the underside. The membrane is ideally used with timber and tile backerboard substrates. It is a great solution when tiling on P5 or green chipboard; and will work with other substrates provided they are rigid, even, load bearing, clean and dust-free. Samples will also be available to collect from the Schlüter-Systems stand at The Installer Show and will allow installers to see for themselves how well it sticks.

In addition, Schlüter-Systems will demonstrate Schlüter®-BEKOTEC-THERM, the water-fed underfloor heating solution with low construction height. The modular system results in an energy-efficient heated floor system with low water supply temperatures.

The team will be conducting practical demonstrations throughout the show and there will be a competition to see who can install heating cable into the DITRA-HEAT membrane in the fastest time, with a chance to win £1,000 worth of Schlüter products for your next project.

The sales and technical teams will be on the stand to answer queries and there will be lots of samples to see and take away.
