Ariston introduces Aures – a new electric instantaneous water heater

Ariston has added the Aures Slim Multi to its portfolio of electric water heaters. Suitable for a wide range of applications, from bathrooms and kitchens to loft conversions and utility rooms, each compact unit can simultaneously supply multiple outlets – such as a sink and a shower – with instantaneous hot water. As a result, users no longer have to wait for the water to heat up.

The Aures Slim Multi has an ‘A’ class ErP energy rating, making it the most efficient method of providing water at the point of use. Plus, each unit is also supplied with a two-year warranty as standard.

To ensure an advanced level of performance, the Aures Slim Multi is equipped with a flow sensor system, which initiates instantaneous water heating when an outlet is opened. Ariston brings comfort to housing development in the Cotswolds

A range of Ariston boilers and thermostatic controls have been installed throughout six new build properties in Gloucestershire. Located in Bourton-on-the-Water in the Cotswolds, ‘The Suffolks’ development comprises five four-bedroom and one five-bedroom detached houses, each benefitting from the latest in energy efficient heating technology. The properties were designed and built by Sherborne Homes, which has already had Ariston boilers installed in over 40 of its previous sites in and around Cheltenham and the Cotswolds.

Ariston unveils the One Series: a new range of high performance boilers

Ariston has launched its brand new ONE Series range of high performance condensing gas boilers and controls. Comprising three A-rated boiler models – the E-Combi ONE, Clas ONE and Clas Net ONE – the new range combines modern, Italian design with the latest materials and a user-friendly interface. Intelligent, robust and efficient, these are also the quietest units Ariston has ever produced.

The technologically advanced ONE Series boilers boast a patented stainless steel, continuous coil XtraTechTM heat exchanger. With 142% wider waterways than previous models, it allows water to pass through quicker and more effectively – ensuring less risk of blockages from debris. The component is exceptionally robust and operates well in a wide range of pH values, providing resistance to corrosion and prolonging the lifespan of the boiler.

Every XtraTechTM heat exchanger also benefits from an improved condensing surface and increased hydraulic performance, which combine to provide a better transfer of heat. Plus, it has been independently certified for safety, quality and usability by renowned European technical testing organisation TÜV Rheinland, offering reassurance to installers and end users alike.

Ease of installation

Lightweight and straightforward to install, with easy frontal access to all components and more room inside the casing, the new boilers have been designed to aid with commissioning, servicing and repair. Enhanced controllabity

ONE Series boilers are fully compatible with the Ariston NET smart heating control, while BusBridgeNet® technology allows communication with other Ariston products. This simplifies integration with a range of devices and heat sources, optimising energy consumption. The remote diagnostic capabilities of Ariston NET also ensure any faults are identified immediately, followed by precise remedial advice.

A brand new suite of controls has also been introduced to allow quick and easy access to Ariston NET. Both the Cube S NET Wi-Fi thermostat and Cube room sensor boast many advanced functions, including energy management, internet weather monitoring and a weekly scheduler programme, as well as holiday and override modes. Thanks to wired and wireless zone management kits, it is also possible to manage up to six heating zones with these controls,

In addition to these controls, all ONE Series boilers include a built-in ‘AUTO’ function, which monitors the ideal temperature for the heating system. This reduces peaks and fluctuations in flow temperature, ensuring the boiler consumes less gas and electricity, while avoiding on/off cycles.

Andris Lux Eco: the UK’s number one water heater just got better

The Andris Lux Eco from Ariston is a small unvented electric water heater, encompassing leading Italian design, energy efficiency, durability, usability and safety. This premium model also boasts new features, including anti-legionella and anti-overheating functions.

Available in 10, 15 and 30-litre models, each with a 2.5kW element, Andris Lux Eco is perfect for a variety of specification-led locations, including commercial properties, building sites, kitchens, bathrooms or offices.

From an energy efficiency perspective, the hot water heaters feature Ariston’s ‘ECO EVO’ function – a new electronic control with automatic learning software, which enables users to achieve energy savings of up to 15%. Andris Lux Eco units also have an ErP ‘A’ rating across the range.

Andris Lux Eco has also been designed with ease of use in mind, featuring an advanced electronic temperature management system. This includes an electronic thermostat for precise temperature control and regulation, as well as user-friendly, intuitive display with simple button layout.

Once a month, the unit will automatically raise the temperature of the water stored inside it to 65°C, in order to eliminate the risk of legionella bacteria developing. Among the other safety features included with the Andris Lux Eco is an anti-overheating option which, in the event of an error, will shut off the heating cycle before it reaches too high a temperature. Similarly, the anti-freezing feature keeps the water at a minimum temperature of 5°C even when the unit is turned off (as long as it is plugged in). Plus, should there be a lack of water in the tank, a ‘dry heating auto-diagnosis’ detects this and prevents the heating cycle from starting and damaging the unit.

In terms of durability, the Andris Lux Eco has a special titanium enamelling, providing the tank with greater strength and longevity when compared to standard enamelling. Furthermore, a copper heating element offers greater protection against corrosion, while the composition of the component ensures a high and hygienic level of water purity. Durability is further bolstered by a robust four-bolt flange, allowing for easy operation, maintenance and/or repair.

The modern and elegant styling of the Andris Lux Eco was created by leading Italian industrial and automotive designer Umberto Palermo. Aesthetic features include a curved black front incorporating a smart, intuitive display, complete with LED temperature control.
