New AliMet Role Promises Big Returns
A move into the construction industry adds up to the ideal job opportunity for AliMet Fabrications’ new Accounts Administrator Kerry Hoult.
She has joined the Bridgnorth company after recent roles in private accountancy firms and is expecting big returns from her new role.
“I’ve always been interested in the construction industry and it’s a great opportunity to join a brilliant team in the early stages of the company’s development,” she said.
It’s not the first time that Kerry has worked within the construction/hardware industry. She began her career as a Credit Controller for Unifix before moving on to roles with JBW Finishers and SIMONSWERK UK – during the first 14 years of her career before moving to private practice.
Kerry, from Wolverhampton, has spent the last eight years working on internal accounts and bookkeeping for Baldwins, and more recently Baker Accountants, supporting clients across a range of industries, overseeing requirements such as the digitisation of accounts and tax returns.
She has qualifications from the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) and an OCR diploma in bookkeeping.
Her new role will involve purchase/sales ledger management, bank reconciliation, VAT returns, liaising with customers/suppliers, credit control and general office duties.
She said: “Prior to undertaking bookkeeping and accounts duties within accounting practices, I previously managed accounts functions for manufacturers which included credit control, sales/purchase ledgers, payroll and HR functions.
“I am looking forward to again enjoying a wider role, learning about the architectural aluminium fabrication industry, as well as getting to know the team, customers and suppliers.”
Away from work, Kerry is married to Richard. They have two children, named Oliver and Darcey and has a cocker spaniel Smiffy. She enjoys walking with her family and visiting National Trust properties. She is a keen gardener, loves interior design/DIY and theatre shows.
AliMet Fabrications’ Managing Director Steve Marshall said: “We warmly welcome Kerry to our growing team. She is the third appointment that we have made in recent months and a crucial one to the smooth running of our operations as the company continues to grow, focus on specific markets and establish new services.”
“We hope that she will be very happy in her new role. We feel that AliMet will greatly benefit from her wide range of skills and experience.”
