CHALLENGE

Material Source Manchester provides a unique destination for built environment professionals to visit and explore a wealth of materials, products and project portfolios. It aims to be both inspirational and useful, to inform and champion materials whilst providing a space for influencing and collaboration.

Within the studio is an expansive gallery of over 50+ partners, an 80-seat theatre, 18-person workshop, seven meeting spaces, podcast studio, gallery, and now the latest addition of a Gin bar to promote networking, collaboration and building relationships.

The client required an aesthetic ceiling solution that would successfully differentiate the gin bar from the rest of the open plan studio space and provide a prime example of its overall objective to promote materials that are pushing boundaries.

SOLUTION

Zentia offered the clients a contemporary and edgy aesthetic solution with its DecoMesh ceiling tile range. With a choice of eight colours, six mesh patterns, and three edge details, it provided the client the ability to experiment and create a space that was distinctive to the rest of the studio.

The DecoMesh range comes in eight different colours including black, white, grey, aluminium, blue, green, red and orange. The client also utilised all six different patterns within the range, which includes tight and compact designs to open and expanded.

The client chose Zentia’s DecoMesh range due to Zentia already being a productive partner of the studio, permanently promoting its innovative range of ceiling tile system materials within the studio space. Made from galvanised steel, powder coated and painted to prevent rust, the tiles offer a long-lasting, high-quality and easy to install solution for when you require a design solution with a statement.
